Pick Up Dragon's Dogma 2 For Just $50 On PS5 And Xbox Series X During Amazon's Black Friday Sale

One of the most interesting RPGs 2024, Dragon’s Dogma 2, is down to its lowest price yet during Amazon’s Black Friday sale that just went live. You can pick up the open-world fantasy epic for just $40 on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Black Friday Deal at Amazon

  • PS5 — $50 ($70)
  • Xbox Series X — $50 ($70)

Like its predecessor, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an open-world action RPG that harkens back to the challenge and friction of the genre’s more hardcore roots. It’s not necessarily for everyone, but anyone looking for a deep action RPG will find a lot to like about Dragon’s Dogma 2–especially if you were a fan of the first game. GameSpot reviewer Richard Wakeling scored the game a 9/10, calling it “an enchanting open-world RPG with varied, exciting combat and a player-created companion system that’s still unlike anything else. It doesn’t do much beyond what the original did, but advancements in technology have enhanced its anomalous strengths, breathing new life into its massive open world and the ways in which you and everything around you can interact with it.”

Spider-Man 2 – Find The Science Trophy Guide

Like Insomniac’s two Spider-Man games before it, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a pretty easy Platinum Trophy to earn. There aren’t really any especially unforgiving Trophies standing in your way, save for a notable exception that may have you scratching your head as you fruitlessly scour the entirety of New York City. To earn the Just Let Go Trophy, you’ll need to find the science trophy Miles and Phin won together which you may recall from a flashback you witnessed during the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

That’s going to be tricky as it’s quite small, meaning it’s pretty well hidden despite sitting in plain sight. And if you haven’t played Miles Morales, you may not even know where to start looking. Here’s how to unlock the Just Let Go Trophy.

Where is Miles and Phin’s science trophy in Spider-Man 2?

To earn the Just Let Go Trophy on PS5, you’ll have to be playing as Miles. Swing over to the Financial District in the southwest portion of the map. What you’re looking for can actually be deduced bas…

Commercial gaming revenue reaches $13.6 billion in US for Q2

Commercial gaming revenues in the United States are on the rise. According to the American Gaming Association, totals reached $13.6bn for the second quarter of 2021, which is a new record for the industry. The total is the best one yet, outpacing the 2019 third quarter results of $11.1 billion.

To date, commercial gaming facilities have generated over $24 billion, on pace to surpass the full year revenues from 2020 of $30 billion. If the trend continues, the country could see its highest-grossing year yet.

Details of the Quarter

The revenue information comes straight from the Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker of the AGA. CEO and AGA President, Bill Miller, pointed out that the first half results of the United States gambling market are remarkable. It is a considerable feat if you take into account the industry was at its lowest point ever a year ago.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the casino industry was tested, as some venues were closed for weeks and even months at a time. Operators have tried their best to bounce back after earning nothing or very little for the majority of 2020.

Miller stated further: “This is a testament to our resili…

Alabama Could See First Votes on Gambling Legislation for State Lottery, In-Person & Online Sports Betting and Up to 10 Casinos

Sports betting, a state lottery, and casinos might become legal in Alabama after the voters decide upon the approval of the gambling legislation in the state, which is expected to be done this week.

Possible legalization:

The proposal is the first attempt at gambling legalization since 1999 when the legalization of lottery was rejected. If the legislation passes the lawmakers, the state’s residents will be able to vote about the matter in the general election, which will be held in November.

The advocates hope that the legislation will help in establishing a state lottery, as well as both offline and online sports betting. Also, it is planned to open up to ten new casinos where table games and slot machines would be available.

According to the legislation, which was filed i…

Flutter Expands in Brazil with Major NSX Group Acquisition

Flutter Entertainment has finalized a deal to acquire a 56% interest in NSX Group, operator of the well-known Brazilian brand Betnacional. This initial purchase marks a significant move to establish a new branch, “Flutter Brazil,” with aspirations to complete the acquisition by the second quarter of 2025.

Under the terms of the agreement, Flutter will provide $350 million in cash and integrate its existing Betfair operations into the new Brazil division. Additionally, the arrangement includes provisions for Flutter to potentially increase its stake at the fifth and tenth anniversary of the deal’s closure.

Strategic move:

NSX Group runs Betnacional and manages other brands like Pagbet, MrJack.bet, and Betpix, which span across both iGaming and sports betting sectors. For 2024, NSX is projected to generate revenues close to $256 million with an adjusted EBITDA of about $34 million. Since its inception in Brazil in 2021, NSX has grown to command 12% of the country’s sports betting market and 9% of the ov…

AMD’s greatest gaming CPU won’t be beaten by AMD’s latest gaming CPU, and that’s according to AMD-

We touched on AMD’s plans for future CPUs with 3D V-cache based on its latest Zen 5 CPUs, otherwise known as the Ryzen 9000 series, last week. But it’s interesting to note that AMD itself says that its existing Ryzen 7000 X3D chips with 3D V-cache will remain the fastest gaming CPUs around, even with the arrival of Zen 5 technology.

Speaking to Tom’s Hardware, AMD’s Senior Technical Marketing Manager of Consumer Processors Donny Woligroski confirmed that Ryzen 9000 will not quite knock the Ryzen 7 7800X3D off its gaming perch. When asked if the hot new Ryzen 9000 CPUs would be the fastest gaming CPUs yet, he had this to say:

“Is it the fastest in gaming? It’s faster than the competition in our tests. X3D is still the king of the hill, but by a much smaller margin than typically between X3D and non-X3D. So a 7800X3D would, yes, be faster than 9700X, but maybe not by as much as you would expect.”

You might think that’s surprising. After all, the new Zen 5 architecture delivers a 16% increase in IPC according to AMD. But that’s an average figure, not a flat 16% with all software in all situations.

Moreover, this is not unprecedented. When AMD rolled out its …

Hackers hijack over 16,000 TP-Link network devices, creating a big ol’ botnet that’s absolutely slamming Microsoft Azure accounts

As a renter all too familiar with the faraday cages that make up much of Bath’s Georgian architecture, I’ve found TP-Link WiFi adapters often come in clutch (that Bridgerton fanfic isn’t going to read itself, and certainly not on a dodgy internet connection). Unfortunately these adapters, alongside many of TP-Link’s networking products, seem to be extremely vulnerable to hackers.

It gets worse: thousands of TP-Link routers have been hijacked by hackers working on behalf of the Chinese government, according to Ars Technica. The affected routers have been leveraged into a botnet that’s hammering Microsoft Azure accounts with password spray attacks, sending massive amounts of login attempts from a rotating roster of IP addresses.

A dizzying 16,000 compromised devices have been pulled together into what’s been dubbed the 7777 (or Quad7) botnet. The name is a reference to the TCP port that exposes the intrusion on the compromised device, and this name was coined by the researcher who first documented it—back in October 2023.

As for Azure, Microsoft’s cloud services have already been the subject of similar attacks, most recently leading to the illicit access …
